  • No, you hit on an important point. The Nobel Peace Prize makes a mockery of itself by having such individuals as Yassir Arafat in it's ranks. It further negates itself with the nomination of Al Gore for the peace prize.

  • I've never read anything by Molly Ivins, so I know nothing of her. However I think your choice of words is inappropriate. "Another voice silenced" seems to infer that the "radical right-wing conspiracy" is responsible for her death, and not breast cancer.

  • Not too long ago, there was a big debate in the racing community over whether or not these horses were actually athletes. I was a bit confused about it myself at the time. Now, however, I hope this issue can be put to rest once and for all.

  • It's good to see him stand up for himself, however he needs to be worried about all media, not just the right-wing. Each of the outlets seem to pick sides, and they're not above slandering even those within their own ideologies to see their candidate win.

  • Before we go making this into a moral issue, we need to step back and evaluate all the information. Saying 18000 people died due to lack of health insurance is quite a broad statement. We know nothing of the personal life choices within that number.

  • I'm sorry, but I don't find a blog that comes to the table with political bias to be a trustworthy news source. Due to my own political leanings I enjoy reading sites like LGF and Malkin, but I don't take their stories as "fact" either.
